Description Sun Rasterfiles are a bitmap storage format developed by Sun Microsystems.
Benefits The bitmap may either by not compressed or compressed using a Run-length Compression scheme (lossless).
Drawbacks The format is well supported on Sun workstations, but is less widely supported elsewhere.
